Conservatories

Siebert Engineering has many years of professional experience in the past in the planning, design, manufacture and installation of conservatories and facades in wood and aluminum. During this time, many of their own ideas and novel design approaches have been continuously put to use. For example, they developed transparent and non-transparent roof vent flaps on the profiling of normal windows which are completely sealed to a roof angle of 7 degrees. These flaps are relatively inexpensive. Statically stable simple wooden joints were found for the wood supporting structure which adhere to the aspects of constructive wood protection. So there are no end-grain surfaces which are directed outward or could be damaged by rising moisture. Outside, use is made of commercial aluminum system profiles, which can also be produced very inexpensively by their own combination of profiles. All roof shapes are possible, especially hip rafters, valley rafters, falling eave edges, double or multiple articulated roofs, cantilevered pyramid roofs, etc. An absolutely dense multiple glass cross joint is easily possible as well.

Statically reinforced window construction in wood, wood-aluminum or post and beam construction is used in the vertical areas. In this manner about 50 individually designed conservatories were built with no problems and are very durable. In the context of these developments, even wood and aluminum facades for a planning office were planned, produced, supplied and installed. A total of four larger buildings with facades in wood and aluminum were produced.

Today, Siebert Engineering is active in system consulting in conservatory and façade construction. In addition, training courses in this area would be possible. So if you are interested in a system independent know-how transfer of specialized practical knowledge in the field of wood and aluminum conservatories and facades, then get in touch with us. We will be happy to help.
